PROGRAM OVERVIEWMany teachers put in so much of their energy into teaching every day such that they find communicating and trying to connect with the parents time-consuming and even trying. Teachers do know the need to engage and communicate with parents as all parents want to feel assured that their little beloved ones are happy in school and getting the best out of school. And that is what teachers want too! While teachers and parents have the same priorities, they may not always see eye to eye how best to support the children. And when things go wrong – even a little bit wrong - it is at times hard to deliver the correct message to the parents. This one-day workshop looks at the practical ways in which the teachers can build good relationship to connect with parents. It also examines the challenges the teachers face and explores how to build open and honest communication with the parents to establish mutual trust and rapport that benefit the children, the parents as well as the school.
